Intricated marbled endpapers. Green ribbon divider and clean tight text block. The book comes nestled in a rich red velvet satchel with gold drawstring and gilt J. K. Rowling signature embroidered upon it. The item, still in its Amazon mailing box, remains sealed in the original clear cellophane wrapping - it has never been opened. Brown leather binding, spine with raised bands, silver-coloured metal corners, centre metal skull vignette and metal clasp. Ribbon marker. Protected in a maroon velvet string-top bag, bearing the embroidered signature of J. K. Rowling in gilt thread, housed in a book-shaped clam shell case, blocked in blind on the upper and lower boards, and on the spine in gilt. The case is shaped inside with a recessed compartment to fit the book in its velvet bag. Also inside in their own printed envelope are ten 7 by 10 inch Collector's Edition prints which slip into a special flap in the upper board. A new copy, still in the original white slipcase cover marked "This side up".

The book itself is protected by a red velvet pouch with the author's embroidered signature in gold with gold drawstrings.The entire volume is protected by a 10 x12 inch custom case with a white paper protective sleeve. Also with the book comes a packet of Collector's Edition Prints, 10 in all. The author's original facsimile handwritten introduction begins the tales. A tall white paper sleeve protects the volume and slipcase stating "This Side Up." Four raised leather bands on the spine of the case. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
